Do you think it is possible? We assure you that the results will go beyond your expectations! The goal of our Corporate Orchestra Team Building is not just to play music, as it may seem at first glance. Music Team Building is a form of communication that allows you to cross barriers. It will help you to communicate, express yourself and your emotions. Obviously, the effectiveness of this Team Building will depend on the quality of the relationship between the participants. So it is important how they will manage to establish the connection between each other.
Team Building Percussion Orchestra serves to “tune” the team as it “tunes” just like an orchestra.
In fact, the orchestra is an excellent metaphor for the company! Because each instrument has its own role as well as every component of the company team. No one can stop playing without the whole orchestra being affected. Team Building Percussion Orchestra is the activity in which the participants have to get out of the comfort zone, pick up percussion instruments and create harmony.
At the beginning of the activity there will be presented the musical language, so each participant will have time to become familiar, to free himself from his own shyness and prejudices. After we proceed with works on voice and sound, which allow for the participants to experience very strong relational dynamics, both in collaboration and individually inserted in a group context. Regardless of the musical metaphor that we use (voice, musical instruments, craft, guitar, percussion, choir, opera, etc.), the work continues in the direction of encourage the creation of something unique. Like a song, the result of the work of the whole group.
So, what are the stages of the process of evolution of the training activity?
The ability to collaborate, mutual listening, communication, harmony, the energy necessary for the realization of the project, attention and the ability to get involved are the fundamental skills that the team work develops during the activity. The musical approach is in fact able to produce in the participants a high level of emotional involvement.
In fact, to make the music we need only four elements: time, rhythm, melody, harmony. Once we mix four main elements, we have everything we need to compose a symphony. When you start playing, the main goal is to share the rhythm and be in harmony with yourself and with others. It is important to form a group consciousness, as well as to have fun. In addition, while playing all together, it is essential to also form a collective voice that emerges from the group, in unison, demonstrating that the team is united and aligned.
Participants enrich each other in the act of celebrating a community through rhythm and music. People of every level of musical knowledge come together and share their rhythmic spirit. And does not matter whatever drum and percussion they bring to the event.
Everyone who comes and participates has something to offer the group and everyone is welcome. The spirit and magic of rhythm expressed by drums and percussion crosses age, sex, religion, races and cultures. Rhythm is a universal language known to everyone, starting from early childhood. The event puts everyone on the same level and brings them closer to each other.
What are the keywords of the event? Cooperation and collaboration. This is a musical performance created at the moment by all the people who participate.
The quality of the music that we create in the event will not base on the rhythmic experience of the players. It will base on the quality of the relationship with other people. It is a living entity that expresses joy and passion through the power of rhythm.
The Drum circle is a group of people who gather in a circle playing percussion and drums of various kinds. This it is an improvisation, it is not a preparation for a performance or a show. What is the number of participants? It can range from a small number of players up to a hundred people. The drum circle offers equality because there is no hierarchy within it.
The main goal is the sharing of rhythm and being in harmony. Also, the important moment is to form a collective voice, which emerges from the group while playing together. In drum circle there is no audience, but everyone is part of the musical experience. There is no evidence, music is improvisation no one is wrong. Everyone is welcome, there is full freedom of expression. There is no master, but the coordinator will guide this activity. His task is first of all to create a group spirit to the rhythm of music.
To form the Orchestra of your company we use a series of musical instruments from different world traditions, as well as, of course, the most important instrument: the voice. Regardless of the musical metaphor that we use, the work continues in the direction of creating something unique. Here, just as in the office, everyone will have their own role and will be able to realize their importance within the group.
The instruments we need for this activity are those which sound comes from beating, rubbing or shaking. In fact, none of these instruments are ever used alone, they all need musical support from others. So they are indispensable for our Percussion Orchestra Team Building.
The Percussion Orchestra activity lends itself very well to both small groups and groups composed of hundreds of people. Obviously the energy flows in different ways depending on the size, but in both cases you work on very deep dynamics. Of course, in small groups it becomes much easier to work on listening, understanding, complementarity and spirit of participation. In the case of a Percussion Orchestra composed of many participants the emphasis of the experiential training activity is shifted to the sense of belonging.
Listening, trust, rhythm, attention, fun and union are just some of the words that team has at the end of this activity. At the begining the participants can be shy, reserved, and even embarrassed. Gradually they will disband more and more, moving from a situation of bewilderment to one of complete involvement. Towards the end it will be obvious the happiness and complicity in the eyes of the people. During the activity, attention will gradually rise, as well as the willingness to get involved.
