Cooking Challenge

What it is

Have you ever imagined turning your colleagues into competitors in a cooking contest? Teams of aspiring chefs face a run of challenges designed to test their technique and their culinary creativity. They may be asked to build a dish using only ingredients chosen by our professional chefs, or to reproduce a signature recipe from a well-known one. The menu is designed beforehand, taking allergies and intolerances into account.

Unlike the other cooking formats, here you aren’t meant to eat what you prepare. You can add a separate buffet made from the ingredients the teams used, or join it to Dinner Cooking so that everyone sits down at the end.

Cooking Challenge: you’re the chef

The format lets people try their hand at dishes from international cuisine, across starters, mains, fish, vegetables and desserts, while they develop something else entirely. We can design the menu together, taking into account your team’s tastes or their allergies and intolerances, but above all the objective you want the day to reach.

In a kitchen, exactly as on a playing field, teamwork decides the outcome. Cooking Challenge is where people come to understand how much collaboration and effective leadership matter, for the plain reason that the dish either comes out or it doesn’t. The day after, the team has a shared reference for what happened when the clock ran out.

The challenge doesn’t include eating what gets prepared. We can however pair the event with a buffet made from the ingredients the teams used, or blend the format with Dinner Cooking so that the dishes made during the rounds get tasted at the end.
