Who handles your data

Teambuilding Incentive FZ LLCCreative Tower, Fujairah, UAEinfo @ teambuildingincentive.ae

We are the data controller. We haven’t appointed a data protection officer, because we don’t fall into the cases where the law requires one: for anything to do with your data, write to the address above and a person will answer.

What we collect, and why

If you ask us for a quote. The form collects what we need in order to answer you: name, company, email, phone, and what you tell us about the event, how many of you there are, when, where, and what you’d like to get out of it. We use it to prepare a proposal and to talk it through with you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR): without this data we can’t reply.

If you send us an email or a message. We handle what you send us, for the same reason and on the same basis.

If you become a client. On top of the above, we handle tax and accounting data, because the law requires us to (art. 6.1.c GDPR).

If you take the Team Alignment Check. The questionnaire is filled in without saying who you are; you leave your name and email only at the end, if you want the report, and you can add your company and role alongside them. The answers to the questionnaire arrive with the request, because the report is built on them. With the tick below the form you also allow us to write to you about our services: the legal basis is consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR) and you can withdraw it whenever you like, with the link at the bottom of every email or by writing to us. We keep the contacts on HighLevel, which is in the table below.

When you browse. With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages work and which don’t. If you don’t give consent, it doesn’t start: the measurement is configured so that no request leaves before your choice. The legal basis is consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), and you can withdraw it at any time from the banner.

When you watch a video. The pages contain YouTube videos. Before your consent, in place of the video you see a preview that sits on our own site: no request is made to YouTube and your IP address doesn’t reach Google. If you give consent, from that moment Google’s own privacy notice applies.

What we don’t do. We don’t profile you, we don’t take automated decisions about you, we don’t buy or sell contact lists, and we don’t send you commercial communications unless you asked for them. The site’s typefaces are hosted by us: they generate no calls to external servers.

How long we keep it

Requests that don’t become clients24 months from the last contact
Client datafor as long as the law requires accounting records to be kept
Site measurement dataas set in Google Analytics, and in any case no longer than 14 months
Contacts left with the Team Alignment Checkuntil you withdraw consent or unsubscribe

Once those periods expire the data gets deleted or made anonymous. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we do it sooner, except for what we’re obliged to keep by law.

Who we share it with

We don’t publish your data. It’s touched only by the people we need in order to work, and each of them has a contract with us that binds them:

Transfers outside the European Union

Three of the suppliers above are based in the United States, so some data reaches them. The transfer takes place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, where the supplier adheres to it, of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If you’d like a copy of the safeguards in place, write to us.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy of it;
  • correct it, if it’s wrong or incomplete;
  • delete it;
  • restrict its use, or object to a particular processing;
  • give it to you in a machine-readable format, or pass it to another supplier;
  • withdraw a consent you had given us, without affecting what we did before that.

You do it by writing to info @ teambuildingincentive.ae. We reply within a month; if the request is complex we can take two months more, but in that case we tell you within the first.

If you think we haven’t treated you properly, you can go to the UAE Data Office, which supervises the Personal Data Protection Law in the Emirates, or to the courts. If you’re in the European Union you can also go to the supervisory authority of the country you live in.

If this page changes

When we change something that matters, a new supplier or a different purpose, we update this page and change the date below. If the change concerns a processing based on your consent, we ask you for it again.
